ARENAS FAMOUS MALT LIQUOR DAY!!

Every January 1st the world (the world meaning a 10 mile radius of rehoboth) stops what it’s doing and gathers at Arenas Deli to partake in our Famous malt Liquor Celebration. What started out as bunch of local musicians/regular customer cure for a NYE hangover has decades later turned into the now infamous Arenas malt Liquor Day. If you have never joined in on the festivities it’s something truly magical that should be experienced at least once. Grab yourself a Mickeys Widemouth, colt 45, or even an Old English pounder and ingulf yourself into the celebration. Don’t forget to keep it classy and grab a little brown bag for your beverage. We supply all you need to decorate said bag and make it your own. Enjoy the jam session that inevitably takes place every year with all the local musicians come in to cure that hangover I talked about earlier. When there is a bunch of musicians in the room beautiful things can happen. On Malt Liquor Day everyone is local, everyone is a friend, and it’s the best way to kick off the new year.
